Steam Raised the Recommended Prices for Russia by 75%

Valve, the owner of the Steam digital store, has updated the recommended regional prices in Steam for all countries for the first time in a long time.

According to SteamDB, regional prices in Russia increased by 75% on average.

Valve reminded that the final cost of the product is determined by the publisher. In addition, the company promised to update regional prices in Steam more often to keep up with economic changes in different countries. The revision of regional prices will now be conducted annually.
