Stellantis Closes Its Plant in China Due to Fears of Sanctions

Global automaker Stellantis (Peugeot, Opel, Citroën, FIAT) has withdrawn from the joint production of Jeep cars in China because of the fear of possible sanctions in the future.

The factory of the concern has been operating in China for 12 years, and its closure was announced on July 18.

It is noted that the company has faced a lot of political interference in business in the Chinese market in recent years.
