The 10 Major Announcements of PlayStation Showcase 2021

PlayStation Showcase is an event at which the company announces and shares details about the upcoming titles. This year, PlayStation Showcase took place on September 9 at 1 PM Pacific Time and unveiled the games that will be released this holiday and beyond, developed by PlayStation Studios and other developers. The stream was broadcast live on YouTube and Twitch.

The event lasted for 40 minutes and unveiled a whole bunch of PS5 game announcements and updates. Here are some of the biggest ones:

1. Gran Turismo 7 announcement

Gran Turismo 7 gameplay trailer has been released. The game will be out on March 4 on PS5.

2. God of War: Ragnarök announcement

A gameplay trailer for God of War: Ragnarok was released.

3. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection announcement

Sony also announced remasters of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for PS5 and PC.

4. Tchia announcement

The adventure game Tchia set on a tropical island was introduced.

5. Bloodhunt coming to PS5

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is coming to PS5 at the end of 2021.

6. Alan Wake Remastered

A gameplay trailer for the Alan Wake remaster was unveiled. The game will be released on October 5.

7. Forspoken

A gameplay trailer for the Forspoken action game was released. In the video, a girl from the modern world enters a fantasy universe and fights huge monsters.

8. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands gameplay trailer

Gearbox has released a gameplay trailer for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a spin-off of the Borderlands series dedicated to Tina.

9. Project Eve

The announcement of the colorful action game Project Eve.

10. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

The details are currently unknown, and the release date has not been announced yet.
