The organizers of the Game Developers Conference have announced dates for the event in 2021. The showcase will take place entirely online, just like last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although initially, the organizers planned to use a "hybrid" format.
GDC 2021 will be held from July 19-23, as previously announced. Usually, the exhibition was held in March, but in 2020 it had to be postponed to August due to coronavirus quarantine and then wholly held online.
This year the conference is celebrating its 35th anniversary. In March, the organizers plan to host two online events: the GDC Masterclass (March 4-5) and the GDC Showcase (March 15-19). Viewers will enjoy lectures, seminars, podcasts, and much more.
