EU leaders have decided to extend economic sanctions against Russia for another six months in response to Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine, as European Pravda writes.
The previous round of economic sanctions against Russia was set to expire on July 31, 2023. This package includes the initial sanctions imposed on Russia in 2014 and all subsequent measures added during the full-scale war.
The extension of sanctions aims to maintain pressure on Russia and demonstrate the EU's continued commitment to supporting Ukraine.
