The EU Urges Georgia Not to Allow Aircraft from Russia

The European Union urges Georgia not to allow Russian planes to enter its territory, while maintaining sanctions against the aggressor country.

Georgia is urged to take appropriate measures as a country applying for EU candidate status.

On May 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed two decrees concerning Georgia: introducing visa-free travel and lifting the three-year ban on flights.
