Thunderful Games and Image & Form Games announced that The Gunk will be released on December 16 for $29.99. You will be able to play the game on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the game on the day of its launch.

The developers also unveiled a new video and showed many new screenshots from the game.
Image & Form Games is a studio from Sweden, mostly known for working on the SteamWorld series.
Its new project is a third-person action in which you will embark on an exciting adventure in an exotic and bizarre world. It is full of terrifying enemies and challenging puzzles that you need to solve to unravel the dangerous, untouched planet's mystery as well as save it from the mysterious gunk parasite.
