The British government has announced the expansion of sanctions against Belarus for its support of Russia. The decision underscores the active role played by Lukashenko's regime in aiding Russian military efforts and disregarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The new package of measures is aimed at intensifying economic pressure on Lukashenko and his regime. The expanded sanctions target key sectors of the Belarusian economy and aim to limit their international trade and financial activities.

The import of gold, cement, wood, and rubber from Belarus will now be prohibited, as per the new restrictions imposed by the UK. Additionally, London has banned the supply of dual-use goods, industrial equipment, and banknotes to Belarus.
