Turkish İşbank Halts the Use of Russian Mir Payment System

One of Turkey’s largest banks, İşbank, has suspended transactions through Russia’s Mir payment system after a warning from the United States.

Earlier, the Biden administration contacted Turkey about the fact that Turkish companies and banks did not support sanctions against Russia.
