Ubisoft plans to release free content updates after Far Cry 6 is released. Over the year, the game will offer its players three crossover missions with Rambo, Danny Trejo (known for his role in Machete), and others.
Another free content available to all Far Cry 6 players is Six Special Operations. Players will need to steal chemical weapons and deliver them to the evacuation point.
Season Pass owners will also get a free copy of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon as well as three DLC episodes featuring infamous villains, including Pagan Min, Joseph Seed, and Vaas Montenegro. Players can play alone or with friends.
The developers of Far Cry 6 also announced on Twitter that the game had gone gold. This means that the game is completed with no unfinished areas and that its copies can already be printed. This also means that the release date will not be delayed.

The release of Far Cry 6 is scheduled for October 7 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders are already open on all platforms.
