Ubisoft has revealed the system requirements for the PC version of the upcoming Far Cry 6, along with a new trailer showing ray tracing and other graphical enhancements.
To play at 1080p and 30 frames per second, players will need at least an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel i5-4460 processor, an AMD RX 460 or NVIDIA GTX 960 GPU, as well as 8 GB of RAM and 60 GB of internal memory, preferably an SSD.
Recommended system requirements include AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel i7-7700 processors, AMD RX VEGA64 or NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPUs, plus 16GB of RAM and an additional 37GB for HD textures.
To play at 1040p and 60 frames per second with ray tracing, you need a minimum of an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel i5-10600 processor, an AMD RX 6900XT or NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU, and 16 GB of RAM.
Ubisoft has already demonstrated more than an hour of Far Cry 6 gameplay on the Xbox Series X with its various aspects, including gunfights, swimming, customization of weapons, and much more.
Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
