UK Imposes New Sanctions Against Russians Involved in Ukrainian Children's Deportation

The United Kingdom has announced sanctions against 14 Russians, 11 of whom are believed to be involved in the unlawful deportation of Ukrainian children.

“Today’s sanctions hold those who prop up Putin’s regime to account, including those who would see Ukraine destroyed, its national identity dissolved, and its future erased,” said James Cleverly, the UK's Foreign Secretary.

The sanctions entail freezing assets and banning entry to the United Kingdom for those listed individuals.
