Publisher Deck13 has released a trailer for Highrise City, a city-building simulator with elements of resource management. The game is being created on the Unreal Engine 4, funded by a grant from Epic Games, and is being developed by the German studio FourExo Entertainment. Steam states that Highrise City will be released in 2022.

The creators of Highrise City offer a modern approach to the genre and a complex resource economy. In the game, players will be able to build cities with a maximum number of inhabitants of one million. The city system is based on an economy with 50 types of resources and the ability to trade.

According to the developers, in this game, players will be able to create a city with an area of 194 square kilometers. Apart from one million inhabitants, it will be able to accommodate up to 30 thousand buildings. The city will have five classes of inhabitants with their own for living and working conditions requirements.

In-game scenes are capable of supporting up to five thousand cars and 20 thousand people, so the streets will surely always be crowded with passers-by. We will also be allowed to manage the economy of the metropolis, research technology, pass laws, and try out custom modifications.
