Brave Lamb, a Polish studio that is working on the global military strategy called War Hospital, is partnering with the British Imperial War Museum, an organization that specializes in wars throughout history.

The specialists of the museum will act as advisors for game developers, informing them about the historical aspects of the project. This way, War Hospital will become the first game whose realism will be provided by the Imperial War Museum.

War Hospital is set in 1917. In the game, the player acts as a British medic heading a field hospital in France that is located near the front lines. One’s task is managing the team of doctors, taking care of those wounded, and ultimately developing medical technologies while the resources are limited.

The game’s key aspect is the examination of the wounded: doctors will have to predict the possibility of recovery, based on the background of the soldiers and the nature of the wounds. This will reflect how difficult it is for doctors to make choices during the war.

War Hospital is slated to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC in late 2022.
